We are committed to the body of Christ. Jesus commanded the disciples in John 13:35, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
As the apostle Paul said, “Our body has many parts” and we do belong to each other, let us therefore work for the edification of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12). The measure of our Christian performance is our love for one another; we have faith, we have hope, we have love; the greatest of these is LOVE!<
